Transport Chain of Responsibility

If you sell or buy livestock at saleyards, own or work in a saleyard or transport livestock to/from saleyards then you are likely to be in the transport chain of responsibility.

ALMA has developed resources to provide guidance to all saleyard stakeholders.

The development of these resources was made possible by funding provided by the Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative.

Managing Effluent in the Livestock Supply Chain

The Managing Effluent in the Livestock Supply Chain RICP is a practical guide that assists livestock transporters and parties in the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) to comply with their primary duty and other obligations under the HVNL relevant to managing livestock effluent during road transport.

The Managing Effluent in the Livestock Supply Chain RICP is freely available to all heavy vehicle operators and supply chain parties and like any Registered Industry Code of Practice, can also be used in court as evidence of known risks and control methods.
