 \nThe auction system that operates in saleyards is an important component 
 of the Australian agriculture sector with transactions setting the current
  market benchmark in quality and price.\n\nAccess conditions have changed 
 in Australian saleyards\nWe advise checking with your saleyard/agent regar
 ding local access conditions prior to going to a saleyard.\nVendors with l
 ivestock in the yarding may now attend saleyard sales - noting first prefe
 rence admission for essential saleyard site staff\, accredited livestock a
 gents/agency staff and genuine buyers with true intention to purchase with
  vendors only allowed to attend if allowable within the social distancing 
 and compliance with any local requirements.\nLivestock transporters will s
 till be able to access saleyard facilities for the purposes of unloading a

 r substantially altered saleyard practices and livestock sales should cont

 al hygiene and social distancing practices:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>do not visit sa
 leyards if you are unwell</li>\n<li>do not visit saleyards if it is not es
 sential to do so</li>\n<li>wash hands regularly with soap and water</li>\n
 <li>avoid touching eyes\, nose or mouth with hands</li>\n<li>sneeze or cou
 gh into your elbow or clean tissue</li>\n<li>do not shake hands</li>\n<li>
